On September 25, 2010 The Good Samaritan Society is hosting our 2nd Annual Pastoral Care Soul Walk at Good Shepherd Home in Wetaskiwin. You may not know this, but Pastoral Care Services has become a visible aspect of our mission; from worship, to hymn sing, to Bible study, the Chaplain gathers the community together in an expression of faith providing religious and spiritual care to all people, regardless of their religion, through a compassionate presence, a listening ear, and friendship to all. This valued service exists within our programs through the financial support of our Pastoral Care Endowment Fund.
Today The Good Samaritan Society is crossing the threshold into a new era with 19 full and part time chaplains providing spiritual nourishment for our seniors, for your family and the community. In support of this valued service, we want to invite you to help us continue providing the holistic and spiritual care we are committed to and walk with us on September 25, 2010 at Good Shepherd Home in Wetaskiwin. All proceeds will go to The Good Samaritan Pastoral Care Endowment Fund which supports Christian Hospitality throughout The Society.
